Experience Jeff Co Open School

Explore a public PK-12 school where advising, goal-setting, rites of passage, and learning beyond the classroom have shaped deeply learner and community-driven experiences for more than 50 years. Learners chart personalized paths through self-directed projects, authentic assessment, and demonstrated personal, social, and intellectual growth. Beyond the building, travel and experiential learning are woven into learning experiences that leave young people with tighter relationships and a stronger sense of who they are.

During this visit, you will experience:

  • Rites of passage where learners propose, pursue, and present projects tied to graduation

  • Alternative assessments without traditional letter grades

  • Advisories in action

And more!
