Join us On Location to learn with and from educators across the country. These immersive 1.5-day learner-centered field experiences offer an opportunity to take in, share back, and make sense of the work as we strengthen our designs and practices together.

More than a tour, each visit is designed to observe and engage, make meaning with others, and consider what you can bring back to your community.

Experience learning alongside young people and educators, and see learner-centered education in action.

Deeper Dive

Engage in focused experiences to take the learning further—perhaps a competency workshop, job shadow, consultancy on AI.

Sensemaking

Unpack what you observed and surface ideas and resources for your learner-centered work.

End Day

Day 2 will wrap up by 12pm so you can travel home that evening.

Group Dinner

Keep the conversations going over a meal with new friends and peers.

Frequently asked questions

Who should attend?

On Location experiences are largely designed for educators and education leaders, but all are welcome, especially those eager for education to work for every young person. Visits will cover a range of topics, such as learner-centered practices and topics relevant to each site. 

What is the cost to attend?

Registration is $400 per person. This includes one lunch and group dinner. Registrants are responsible for covering their own travel and lodging.

Will there be financial support?

Limited financial support is available for registration, travel, and lodging, if needed. Scholarship information is located on the registration pages. Individuals may receive support for up to two On Location visits between October 2026 and April 2027.

How many people can join from my team?

Generally, up to five people per organization may join. Some exceptions may apply to sites with more limited capacity. This will be noted in the FAQ section

Do I need to book my own hotel?

No. Education Reimagined will reserve rooms for participants who request lodging after registration. Unless you receive a lodging scholarship, you’ll pay for your room directly at the hotel.

Can I earn a Certificate of Participation for my professional development?

Yes! A certificate can be downloaded on event pages. A signed certificate can be provided after the visit, upon request.

What is the cancellation policy?

If your plans change, your registration fee is fully refundable if you cancel at least five business days before the event. Cancellations within those five days will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
